The good thing is once uploaded, the system uploads changes so your data uploads won't be so much.įor 1TB, Amazon is the cheapest at $60 per year ($5 a month). This includes pauses since you can pause uploads, and system shutdowns. Uploading about 1TB of data - Photos (including NEF RAW files), pretty much took me 3 days to upload. That can be time consuming and data use intensive. The only thing that sucks is initially uploading all your files. And you can call them for questions or support. External drive as explained to me would also be my NAS drive. I'm going to go with the Plus plan as it also allows an external drive to be backed up as well. They have 3 plans going from Basic ($6.00), Plus ($9.34), and Prime ($12.50) a month. What I really like about them is you can upload or download individual files anywhere you can connect to the internet making you file accessible anywhere. Once that's done you can have backups done on a continuous basis or choose your own times. They automatically scan your system for common backup files and folder and upload them.

I'm currently taking advantage of Carbonite's 15 day trial period, but I already know I'm going with them seeing I've already uploaded about a TB of data to their site. I ran across pCloud for the first time today and was wondering if anyone has used them? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
PCLOUD DRIVE SUCKS MOVIE
Would like the ability to save photos including RAW and movie files. I want to stay within $10 a month if possible. I'm surprised they didn't even acknowledge the clear mistake about trash_clear method where it says getfilepublink in the documentation.Looking for 1TB or more of online Cloud storage space. Maybe they use another API or the getauth method for their in-house clients hence they haven't faced issues themselves, I dunno. I explained the bug and even the errors in the documentation. What did you say in your email? Maybe you should rephrase it as a bug report that the clear trash API works with a token from getauth but not from OAuth - that might get some traction? Or maybe you did this already! As you said, not the only remote that does this.
PCLOUD DRIVE SUCKS PASSWORD
Let the user know that storing the password would auto refresh the token when needed failing which the user needs to keep an eye in the logs.īut, yeah, I wouldn't mind storing the user/pass if required. I forget what the expiry was for the getauth token but storing the password could be optional. It would hardly be the first backend to do that, but it is annoying since oauth already works nearly!

Getauth has the disadvantage that rclone needs to store the password in the config file.

PCLOUD DRIVE SUCKS 64 BIT
Linux Ubuntu 18.04 64 bit Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive) Note: I tried the latest beta (rclone v1.50.2-103-g7e6fac8b-beta), but the problem is still there Which OS you are using and how many bits (eg Windows 7, 64 bit) What is your rclone version (output from rclone version) Note: I succesfully created a pcloud remote and can sync files without problems. I get an error when trying to cleanup my pCloud remote. What is the problem you are having with rclone?
